Here are some spaces for CBS members to serve God in. All these roles are voluntary, but expenses are covered. To serve in these roles it is important to be part of a CBS study group.
The person appointed will organise the CBS UK National Conference which is held in early spring each year. Guidance as to the theme and main speaker will be contributed to by the National Servants’ Team (NST) and National Director (ND). In the first year, the post holder will be given the opportunity to learn whilst growing into the role as support is available from experienced team members.
The role involves coordination with the venue and main speaker, setting the programme and organising a great conference for all with the guidance of the NST and help from the National Administrator and the conference team Graphic Designer. The appointee is ex-officio a member of the NST which meets 3 to 4 times a year. An annual work timetable is available. Prayer for the conference is an integral a part of the role.

Deputy National Safeguarding Coordinator
The role supports the National Safeguarding Coordinator (NSC) in all aspects of policy formation and practical safeguarding including DBS checks and advice. In the absence of or if there is difficulty in contacting the NSC or if there is a concern about the NSC regarding safeguarding, the deputy stands in. The role involves: Advising classes on safeguarding issues and policy, helping ensure that CBS UK safeguarding policy and practices are coherent and taking a share in running DBS checks.

Regional Trainers (Adult)
This is an invaluable role for an enthusiastic person who has a heart for developing leaders in their own CBS responsibilities. The role is
– To work as a team member alongside the Regional Director and Class Visitor
– To respond to training needs for CBS leaders as identified by the Regional Director.
– To deliver CBS UK approved training, to the necessary criteria, to meet leaders’ developmental needs
– Be willing to attend ‘Train the Trainer’ events as required.

Children and Youth Regional Supervisor
This is a role for an enthusiastic person who has a heart for extending the work of CBS Children and Youth work in their region and developing Children and Youth leaders. The role is to promote Children and Youth CBS in a region, to train new leaders, to identify training needs in existing leaders and to deliver training appropriate to those needs. The role would involve attendance at national Train the Trainer events.

Materials Library Coordinator
The National Studies library service updates and checks, stores and supplies CBS study material to classes nationally and feeds back to the central library in the USA on errors which are found. The Library Coordinators will be accountable to the Library Supervisor.
The work will involve any of the following depending upon your gifting and choice: Proofreading, errors correction, including Anglicising; saving materials in the library in different formats with page numbers and a cover and making a backup copy. Responding to study errors reported by classes.
