Jesus found Simon at university. Simon trained as a GP and then worked in mission in Peru for 12 years. He retired from General Practice in 2015. He is married to Ann and they have three grown up sons, one lovely daughter-in-law and a granddaughter. Together they are now involved in a team building Christian community in Lincolnshire. Their shared passion is the spread of the Word of God and they are members of the Lincoln Bassingham CBS class.
Midlands Regional Director and National Study Library Supervisor
Virginia has been a member of CBS since 1999. She has a passion for seeing the ministry grow to enable God to transform the lives of others as He has done for her.
Northern Regional Director
Ali maintains regular contact with classes and Class Visitors north of Leicester to ensure all leaders are supported in their roles. She is also on the Conference Team to assist in the successful planning and delivery of our annual national conference. Ali is a member of the Whirlow class, near to where she lives with her husband and two sons.
Lathan and Dinah Ball
Regional Directors for Wales and the Bristol area
Lathan and Dinah have been members of Thornhill Church in Cardiff since coming to faith in 2001. Lathan has a background in biotechnology and loves mountaineering and photography. He has been a member of the Thornhill CBS class since it started in 2010 and loves it!
Dinah has a background in Nursing and since 2006 has worked as a Pastoral Carer at their home church. She helped establish the Thornhill CBS class in 2010 and has watched in amazement as God has steadily grown this little Saturday morning gathering. They have three children – Eleanor (21), Lucy (18) and Joe (16).
Regional Director South
Bonnie’s mother, Lee Campbell, started CBS. Bonnie helped start the international arm of CBS and she worked to develop the ministry for 7 years before she met husband Nick and they settled in the UK. She now leads the CBS class at Holy Trinity Brompton. She has three teenagers and a grandchild who is her delight.
Children and Youth Supervisor
Ann is from the West of Ireland and trained as a midwife. After studying at All Nations Christian College she worked with her husband for 13 years in Peru in health, pastoral and leadership roles. It was there they first started studying with CBS. Subsequently for several years Ann supported the early work of CBS in Ireland.
She has a passion for bringing God’s Word alive for children and young people.
